Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you – John 16: 14-15
The entrance into Holy Pascha was commemorated with the Divine Liturgy followed by the washing of the Disciples’ feet which a group of 12 boys from Divine Heart Sunday School partook in. His Grace Mar Mari Emmanuel conducted with washing with suffragan Priest Reverend Father Isaac. The young boys in attendance had received instruction & advice following in the spirit of the season, and had fasted and remained in vigil for the celebration.
His Grace Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel congratulated the young boys, encouraging them to follow in the example and zeal of the Lord in administering to each other, furthermore, the Bishop expressed his delight, bestowing blessings upon the young boys and their families.
