Divine Heart Sunday School under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Mari Emmanuel would like to welcome you to this page.

In Proverbs 22:6 it teaches us that we should “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Here at Divine Heart Sunday School we believe that the future of our Church is her children thus building a more sound family bond. Therefore with the help and the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ it is our mission to instil Christian teachings, morals and values into our children. We also saw that there is a need to teach our native language (Aramaic/Assyrian) to our children in order to preserve our Holy Church traditions and rites.

To accomplish this mission, the Divine Heart Sunday School team inspires and motivates youngsters to explore and find out how spirituality is significant in their life and encourages them to incorporate Christian values in their life.

Divine Heart Sunday School is held on Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (during the morning Divine Liturgy Service) and from 6:00PM to 8:30 PM (during the evening Divine Liturgy Service). We deeply believe that each child should be equipped with the Word of God to be able to stand firm in the world full of challenges. We earnestly encourage every parent to see this as a top priority and bring their children to classes regularly.
